It’s been over two years now since DB Dog Shop debuted on the web and I have to admit it the most enjoyable work I’ve done in a long time. It’s great fun meeting dog people and we all know dog people are the best people. It has been challenging at times which was certainly expected but overall it’s been most enjoyable.
Like a lot of internet businesses, DB Dog Shop wants to provide products and services to their customers. I’ll admit, we’re a small shop but we like being small after years of working for a giant corporation. We have the ability to turn on a dime and don’t have all the red tape. We can provide excellent customer service because we’re not restricted by telephone timers, bean counters and bureaucracy.
We like our job and we like our customers. We especially like dogs. What could be better?
We decided to take the plunge and host a blog so that we could share some of our knowledge and experience with our customers. We want you to be able to “meet” us which is really hard when you’re an internet based company. We also want you to know that we’re here to help.
We will try to keep the shameless plugs for our online store to a minimum but we will be talking about all the dog supplies in our shop as well as other things of interest to dog owners.
